Awarded 0 points at ESA medical was created by susan
Hi, I recieved my letter today, 3 weeks after my medical. Guess what, I score 0 points.
I am begining to think they have got me mixed up with someone else as what I told and evidence I gave the nurse assessor has not been mentioned in my letter. I have a life threatening disease called Fabry's and recieve a iv infusion every 14 days for the rest of my life and take 18 tablets a day. I also suffer from IBS because of the disease and told her about my incontinance. Have Hypertension due to key stage 1/2 kidney disease, cfs, chronic depression, slight deafness, neuropathic pains througthout my body and the inability to sweat which causes fevers. I told the assessor that I have to refrain from any excersion, excersise, stress etc as this can cause serious complications to me and make me very poorly and can put more stress on my vital organs which can put my life in dangers.
I would be grateful for any advice on helping me appeal
thanks

If you look in help for claimants (in the yellow box on the left side of the page) and then in the ESA section, you will find help on how to appeal. We'll do our best to help with any general questions, but we can't advise you on your individual appeal. Good luck.

Susan - you should not have been subjected to all this.

I would try and enrol the support of the CAB or similar and push for an early reconsideration as part of the appeal process.

I think it would help to have a clear understanding of where you meet the ESA criteria. The guides will help, but i would seek professional advice and additional support including that of your GP and/or specialists.

Try not to worry - perhaps they have confused you with someone else! A copy of the medical report will help you determine the accuracy of the assessment.

Best wishes
