Which benefit is your query related to please? I would assume it is Incapacity Benefit or Employment & Support Allowance as you mention points scored but it would be helpful to know which benefit it actually is.

Many thanks

Pete

Hi
I have osteo.and spinal stenosis and am on IB.and have been for the last 4 years. The first time I filled in an IB50 and attended a medical and scored 38 points. After joining this sight I sent extra sheets of info.with the IB50 and have not attended a medical since. With the help of my doctor and this brilliant sight I also receive DLA HRM and LRC.I,like yourself am in a lot of pain amd without my wife would not be able to cope.
You must give as much info as you can when applying.
Good luck
Kenny

Your comments suggest that your are already appealing the decision.

If you have not done so already, please look at the ESA Appeals document in the members area.

If you are not receiving ESA Assessment Rate at the moment you should contact the DWP as you are entitled to it while you wait for your hearing.

Finally, you should seek advice from your local CAB or Welfare Rights, to assist you in the preperation of your appeal evidence.

Good luck

Gordon
