RE DLA RENEWAL - GOOD NEWS OR BAD?

Further to my earlier post; I spoke with my physiotherapist before he replied to the DLA.

GOOD NEWS - I have heard today that I have had my Higher Rate Mobility and Higest Rate Care renewed - INDEFINATELY.

Also thanks for sharing your news on the forum. It can give hope to others currently going through the system that not all renewal claims are problematic. It also shows the value in speaking with professionals involved in your care and keeping them fully informed of your care/mobility needs.

Superb new ibbet47, glad you were successful. I dont think doctors or specialists lie about your condition and truly feel atos DLA decision makers should always go on this Evidence.

I spoke to my GP before he wrote his letter and i also plastered all over my form that my condition was not cureable and that i woud not improve. I also got my renewal through as before and also indefinatly. maybe they are starting to see some sense?
