i had a medical on24th dec 2010 far incapcity how long does it take to repaly far result and how can i get my report can please some body tell me

given the holidays we have just had people off with flu and the snow I would expect it to take longer than normal and until they have done the paerwork you cant ask for a copy a guess and i hope its a good one IMO 4 weeks

Hi,

It's impossible for us to say, as it depends upon the workload of your particular medical examiner, as most only work part-time.

Also, you have to bear in mind that the Christmas & New Year holidays were longer than normal, as Christmas Day & Boxing Day fell on Saturday & Sunday respectively, so Monday and Tuesday were Bank Holidays, so inevitably things will take longer than normal.

The best way to find out is to telephone the Jobcentre Plus dealing with your claim and ask them if they can give an estimate of when you can expect the result of your medical. You can also request a copy of the Medical Examiners report by requesting a copy in writing from again your local Jobcentre Plus office.
