Why dont we all try and come up with such a letter???

I mean it should start

Dear Sir or Madam

MY NI NUmber

Regards your letter dated the *****

I am not happy with the fact I have not been placed in the Support Group. I feel this is wrong Because of Exceptional circumstances

(2) This paragraph applies if—
(a)the claimant is suffering from a life threatening disease in relation to which—
(i)there is medical evidence that the disease is uncontrollable, or uncontrolled, by a recognised therapeutic procedure; and
(ii)in the case of a disease that is uncontrolled, there is a reasonable cause for it not to be controlled by a recognised therapeutic procedure; or
(b)the claimant suffers from some specific disease or bodily or mental disablement and, by reasons of such disease or disablement, there would be a substantial risk to the mental or physical health of any person if the claimant were found not to have limited capability for work

If the above is not the reason then the reason as listed in the ESA book on this site should be listed and a letter from the correct medical dr supplied to support the reason ?

You could also refer to any other evidence you enclose. You might, for example, get a copy of a letter or report that has been sent to your GP from a clinic and use that.

It would help of course if letter or reports have something in them that can be then be used to support what the regs say for example in the regs it says

Has no voluntary control over the evacuation of the bowel; or has no voluntary control over the voiding of the bladder

so a letter from nurse or dr point out the regs page chapter line ect ect

Thankyou Dave for the above, you read the situation well
I may not come across the elusive letter but I now know I have the prompts that I needed. Silly as it sounds I just needed a starting point.
