work focussed interview

Hi, I have been having my interviews at my home, as I was laid up over the winter months I could not drive my car(Auto) due to my eyes, then the bad snow as the paths never got gritted as I use crutches so I was not going to venture out. I phoned her up and my interviewer Gemma was very nice and she came to me. I have my last interview with her in March

Well I went for my meeting today.

Lovely lady - said it was just a routine meeting and she informed me that I would be being migrated from IB to ESA sometime before 2013. She said the migrations are starting Feb 2011 in this area.

I asked how are they being done? By review date, alphabetical or by age. She said it's not alphabetical but didn't know which of the other two it would be. I asked when is mine due and she didn't know.

She said would at sometime receive a letter telling me I was to be migrated then after that ALL CONTACT would be by telephone.

She said the press were painting it to be far worse than it is ....but on asking deeper questions she did admit appeals were taking up to a year to be heard.

I asked if they are migrating 10,000 a week - surely the level of appeals would extend this time frame to nearer two years....she said yes it's a farce and a waste of money isn't it.

Not sure if this is helpful - it definitely wasted my morning.....learn far more on what is happening on here. I was actually telling her not to worry about her job etc....
