IB Tribunal Papers arrived.......Where do we start

A friend of mine was taken off IB last year and since then we have been waiting for him to recieve paperwork as on his behalf I appealed to a Decision Maker, etc. Now they have arrived, what a lot, and I haven't got a clue where to start preparing a case for when we have to go. With working full time and looking after my friend I am at my wits end. He doesn't qualify for a social worker as he is not "homeless", the Physciatrist stated that This tribunal needs to be lifted from him first before the real treatment can begin and the Doctor " feeds him with Diazapan", plus CAB is fully booked for the next 4 months.......I can see there will be another on ESA before long as I can't take much more of this.....- over.......
Could someone please point me in the right direction as to where to start on all the paperwork that has been sent to me - do I look at the questions and how the Atos representative percieved them, thanks in advance

Hi Cooky44

You can find detailed advice on how to handle an IB appeal and go through the papers in the IB appeal guide here (The Best Possible Incapacity for Work Appeals link).

Good luck

I got the local Welfare Rights Officer to go through it with me. He is now going to represent me at my tribunal next month and it is a huge relief that I wont be going through it on my own.
