HI I wondered if anyone could explain the role of the ssac, what power do they have to reject decisions mde by government?
I ddon't see the point of having a body to advice government if their findings are desregarded,

The SSAC has no power and only advises the Government. The Government can choose to ignore their advice no matter how critical it is.

I don't see the point of the SSAC either!
