The proposal is to time limit CB ESA (if placed in the WRAG) to one year. So as you tell us that you are on CB ESA then your CB ESA will be time limited to one year if it goes through . If however after your one year on CB ESA you satisfy the means test for IB ESA then you will be able to claim IB ESA.

I don't think that many non-disabled working people know that if they become ill that their national insurance payments that they have paid for approx 40 years will not cover their ill health benefits for more than 12 months. If only they knew, they would probably be more alert to all these benefit changes.
