I have my ESA appeal coming up on 8 June 2011 however I have not received a date for my DLA appeal yet. I was told these are usually heard together but after speaking to the tribunal service mine have been seperated as per one of the Judges directions, is this unusual?

Unless the DLA Decision you are appealing was affected by the ESA one, there would be no need for there to be single hearing.
Given the difference in criteria, having a single heating could well be to your disadvantage as there would be a real risk of contradicting yourself during the questioning.
