mobility claim

just recieved great news awarded higher rate mobility.no medical or visit which took me by supprise.got the award indefinatly.being already on lowerrate carers wondering if is worth appealing for higher rate.having produced enough evidence about care needs.which they didnt take in consideration.ie dizzy spells and falls,no cooking and help bathing.would like to hear peoples responces

You need to be aware that if you apply for higher rate care, your mobility element may be reviewed and you may lose it. You always take that risk when you ask for your DLA rates to be reviewed.
