Good news finally from my DLA review :) was created by Rochelle
Hi all just wanted to come on and post my good news and give u an update, and hopefully might reassure others who have like me out of the blue got the same horrendous letter re" information concerning their entitlement to Dla"
In March this year out of the blue i got this letter from DlA saying they had information about my entitlement to DlA and i had to fill out a long review form. I was told that they could not tell me what info they had about me but on another call i was told it was a random review.
The 10 weeks it took to get my review decision felt like 10 months and i dreaded the day my letterbox had the big brown envelope, i felt sick and worried and upset that someone would maliciously make a call about me to the fraud line and make up some horrible lies about me, and i racked my brains for that whole time thinking who it may of been and what have i done for someone to want to cause me such worry and panic.
Well for the fist time in 3 months since getting the horrible letter i smiled when i read the letter saying i am on the correct level of dla and with it came a low renewal form although i had just filled out a dla50 form,(at the time of me sending the form in they said i wont have to fill out a renewal in August but that does not seem the case now )
So although my review came back that i was on the right levels of Dla i am now worried again if they are going to award me the same rates this time.
Do you think that they will have no problem awarding me a new award based on the fact that it was just one weeks they have just confirmed that i am definitely on the right levels of benefit, i have quite a bit more evidence to end in with my renewal like letters from the hospital confirming i need a total new replacement and also that i am going to have to get my home adapted as i am having many falls and struggle with the stairs(have to go up on my hands and knees and down on my bum) sorry for waffling on, thanks for taking the time to read my post and take care xx

Replied by Rochelle on topic Would a correct DLA review be good news 4 renewal
Hi all, sorry if my title is a bit confusing but could not fit my whole question in title.
What i wanted to ask is " Just had DlA review got results back last week, they said i am on the correct level of DlA, they also sent me a renewal form as award runs out in August, would the results of my review mean that there is no reason why they should not give me a new award, i have new evidence from my consultant which i never had before and also did not have it in my review."
Thanks sorry if my post is a bit confusing lol.
