ESA medical query

Prescription & pill organiser should suffice.

Good luck and make sure that the doctor does write down all meds you take, including the "Morphine".

There was previously a requirement to take all the medication to the medical assessment, but I am unsure whether this stipulation still exists?

The purpose of taking the medication to the assessment was to allow the medical assessor to check to see if the claimant was in fact taking all the medication? This was done by recording the date the prescriptions were dispensed, and counting the tablets in the box/bottle to ascertain if the date on the label and the (remaining) tablets in the container actually married up?

It may be hard to believe, but this was just another surreptitious tactic to test the credibility of the claimant!

My assessment was July 2010 so things may have changed but I was definately asked to take boxes/containers.

The nurse still managed to write it down all wrong anyway.

most people these days can supply photo copies of the paperwork that comes with prescriptions for re ordering it shows what you are on and when you take it... it also shows the last time the prescription was filled

the old tatic was one of the few they used I agree with as many people get drugs and dont take them as they should others get them each month but take less than they should each month

of course everyone on here takes all there drugs all the time ?
