Well That is It for Me

Just spoken to the DWP re new ESA - Worked from the age of 14, never claimed before until 3 years ago when cancer kicked in along with other serious health probs, never broken the law, served my country and what will I get under the new regime for my efforts - absolutly nothing.

They have told me I am entiled to nothing due to my pension of £600 per month, even though after tax I actually only get £487. Suppose I could get angry and make rude comments about certain individuals who contribute nothing and get everything, but what would be the point, just have to move into a 1 bed tent suppose.

Was told caner looks like it may be back, so maybe I wont have to live in poverty very long after all?

Anyway - thank you all who have helped me and my wife over past few months.

I wont tell you what I told the ATOS rep who phoned me earlier - regarded the form and where the sun don't shine.

Thank you Mr Cameron, i'll certainly be voting for you in the next election!

Check with tax man if that pension your only income are you paying right tax ?

Cheer up Edwin, if it helps any I feel exactly same as you only I dont have cancer. The Benefits people that phoned me were extremely cheeky when asking me question and quite frankly spoke to me like I was an Idiot.I am too unwell to work and I am dreading going for my assessment, as if I get taken off what I am currently on I will lose my home and be aswell dead. Cheer up darling wont you

Edwin- I am both so sorry & so angry reading your post. So sorry for you & your wife & so b****y angry about 'the system & the way it treats people in real need. What happened to 'A land fit for heroes'? I do hope NOT! that Dave & Co enjoy all their holidays this rumour that he's planning a 3rd holiday?? Oh- it's ok because it's only a staycation in Cornwall, not really a proper holiday!!
