DLA question

I have been put into the support group re ESA and I was wondering if i should claim DLA what would my chances of a successful claim be by being in the support group would there be any?

Hi,

Generally it is impossible to say as the criteria for award of the two benefits are different.

DLA looks at your mobility and care needs, whereas ESA is concerned with whether you can work or not.

There is a degree of overlap between the two but they are different benefits for different things.
