It is means tested, so in theory, everyone will be in the same boat. I suppose it depends on whether or not you have got used to having it.

I've lost a lot of money due to my child maintenance stopping. Just eating less and not using the car unless I have to, let alone treats.

Hope the government re think on Con ESA, life is hard enough.

Best wishes,
Rachel

my hubbie works full time but his wage has been reduced by 1/3 rd over the last 4 years due to the company policy of accept the new lower pay contract or leave. But isn't it that if your partner works for more than 16 hours you don't qualify? with my IB.. now ESA and DLA we barely get by and there is nothing else to give up... so we would have to sell our little house   :S :( Theres going to be a lot of very sick people who fall just outside of the 'system'. :(

The bill has been passed on the commons and is going to the Lords in Sept/Oct. I urge people to write to as many lords as possible as it has always been felt that aspects of the bill may be revised after the Lords reading Hopefully it can be changed but we have to contact members of the house of lords and explain his it is going to affect disabled people.
