How long to receive form was created by justme
2 weeks ago I received the letter regarding the change over from IS and IB to ESA and then I got the phone call from them last Wednesday.
But I still haven't received the form to fill in, I just wondered if I should have received the form by now.
I am really anxious about all this, Just wondered how long it takes after the phone call to receiving the form.
Many thanks for any advice
Stu

Hi Crazydiamond,
I've done a search and read that it can take up to 14 days after the initial phone call for it to come through. Im just worried that it might be late and I don't want to be penalised for a late return of the form.
Because during the initial phone call I heard the DWP person on the phone say I will tick the box that the form has been sent. But this was last Wednesday and still nothing has come through the post.
I suffer from bad anxiety and I panic and worry about everything but I guess I will just have to wait and see if it turns up in the next couple of days or so. I think that's all I can do for now
Many Thanks
Stu.

Hi Stu
Whatever date the form arrives you will have six weeks to complete and return it from the date that it is sent to you.
The 14 days between the phone call and receiving the form is just an estimate and may vary, but you will have the full six weeks to complete the form.
Hope this helps
Derek

Thanks Derek
That helps me so much.
Although I do worry when the DWP guy said "Oh I will just tick the box that the form has been sent". I wonder whether he has sent it or its someone else's job to do that.
And if it is someone else job to send it and see's the box ticked they will probably assume the form has already been sent.
I don't know how the system works with sending forms out. I'm so confused with that part.
I hope this makes sense
Many Thanks
Stu.

The form is actually sent out by ATOS, so quite what the DWP person thought they were ticking, is anybodies guess
