The Welfare Reform bill, when passed, will time limit ESA(CB) to 12 months from April 2012 for members of the WRAG but not the Support Group.

Anybody who has been in receipt of ESA(CB) for 12 months at that time will immediately lose their eligibility.

After the 12 months, claimants will be eligible to receive ESA(IR), subject to their meeting the associated means test for income and assets.
