WFIs was created by mumsgirl
I first claimed ESA in July last year and while in the assessment period I had a WFI where I was told I would be required to have a further 5 on a monthly basis. In October last year I was placed into WRAG, but I was never called for any more interviews (not that i'm complaining!). I was just wondering if anyone knew why that was the case? Was it an error on their part? Or does that happen to people sometimes? They sent me another ESA50 in June, which I sent away in July and now I have a medical assessment with ATOS on Thursday! If I'm 'lucky' enough to be put into WRAG again should I expect to have to attend WFIs or would it be treated as an extension of the orginal claim?

As yours was a new claim, there is a mandatory WFI as part of the Assessment phase, which is what I believe is what you attended. Standard practice is for you to attend 5 more, monthly interviews, however, it sounds like it was not considered worth calling you to these because of your health.
Being re-assessed probably means that this will be re-visited, so there is a possibility that you may now be called for the remaining WFIs, of course, they may also decide that there is still no point in your attending in the short term.
