medic. evidence with doctor/HCp before home visit? was created by J The Divine B
Just got pnone call a few days ago for new DLA claim home visit earlynext week.
Doctor admitted on phone ---when questioned if had received all claim form replies and all the 60 plus medical sheets and would prepare and have them for home visit ---that none were supplied but that had "been informed that there was a visit to the A.... clinic and that there had been an improvement."
Having visited and spoken today with Atos officer it is clear thet DWP in Blackpool now make the diagnoses and select what to send to Atos and home visitors.
In this case the DWP DM 'diagnosis' of a condition was wrong and confused with medication in another condition almost wholly irrelevant to DLA claim. Significantly the DWP had to knowingly and deliberately exclude a score of vital and relevant detailed reports from 5 different consultants and 4 specialists.
Lastly, to have found the snippet of irrelevant and insignificant 'evidence'---the only line in scores of medical documents where 'improvement' was mentioned ---then the DM had to trawl through every medical document provided.
I have delivered by hand all the medical evidence to Atos today for the doctor. Will also have every medical report awaiting the doctor at home visit.
Anyone had similar experience?
