I would appreciate anyone's advice please. Wife won IB Appeal early August. (Couldn't have done it if I hadn't have had all the help, support and advice from this site. Thank You) Have had no communication from DWP. Have tried numerous times over the last few days to contact them by phone, but line always busy, and no facility to queue ( line goes dead after a few minutes). Did manage to speak to someone on IS Department who confirmed they have received the Tribunals decision, but phoned the same line today, and was told there is a facility to queue, when I argued this she hung up.
The reality is we can't speak to anyone about IB claim. Not sure where to go from here, 5 weeks since won the appeal, and no income from DWP from January 2011
Something that seems to have worked for quite a few members (and also myself) when dealing with a lack of response from the DWP is to get your MP involved.
