ESA Migration success!

After a long wait, the results of my medical arrived today and I have been placed in the support group. Many, many thanks to all at Benefits and Work for the help given. It isn't really fair to single out moderators but Gordon and Bro 58 really helped to answer my queries. I'm now going to send for ESA85, ESA85S and ES65 to see how long I might have before going through this sorry process again!

sheleo, you said you had a long wait - may I ask how long it was? i'm waiting for my results (but it's only been a week so far).thanks

Hi mumsgirl, I waited just over five weeks. Every day seemed like a year! I think that the waiting is one of the most difficult bits of the whole experience. I live in a rural area and I'm guessing that the length of the wait will grow as more people are moved. The travel expenses came about 10 days after the medical.

5 weeks? It must have be awful for you? It's horrible all this waiting isn't it, I feel like i'm in limbo, in no mans land. And we will all probably be waiting different lengths of time! Some longer, some shorter.
