The rules are Higher rate mobility is not payable to children under 3 years old and lower rate mobility is not payable to children under 5 years old.

Higher rate Mobility is usually paid to adults and children who have physical difficulties with walking.

because he has no sense of danger and he cant walk if somthing distresses him which could be a loud car,too many people he wont walk into shops because of the aircon get very distressed will fall to the floor, it is not him being naughty like people think he is cos he cant do it does this not apply ??

The issues of LRM and HRM eligibility are discussed in more detail on page 16 of the DLA Claims for Children with Mental Health issues in the Members Only area.
