Child DLA for CRMO was created by mum0f6
Hi
I was wondering if anyone had any experience of claiming DLA for a child with CRMO - Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis. My daughter is 10 and is in her second flare up (right leg now left leg) in 12 months. Would appreciate any advice I am a member and have downloaded loads of helpful information as I've just had to apply for my 15 year old son who has had ME/CFS for almost 2 years and he's also suffering with depression.

Hi mumof6
There may be other members like yourself with experience of this condition, we cannot answer specific questions, regards DLA for your daughter.
If your daughter needs help either with care or mobility, or both, you could put in a claim. It's the help needed and not the medical condition itself that may qualify your daughter for DLA.
The guides in the Members Only orange section give full guidance on how to claim and if necessary how to appeal, if you have to cross that bridge!
Kind regards
Michael
