hi my husband has been placed in a wrag group of which we are going to appel. in the mean time if he has to go for a interview can i go with him as i am his carer jackie

Yes you can and don't be put off by any protestations that they don't have space, etc., your husband is entitled to have a companion, especially if you are his carer.

I believe your husband can ask for the WFI to be done by phone if his condition makes travelling to job centre (or wherever) problematic or dangerous for his health.

Can someone confirm?

Yes you can, but it is less likely that this will be granted for the first WFI than for subsequent ones.
