This is such a bitter sweet account (I've read the whole story through the links from the BW newsletter links). I am so glad that you got your awards but so angry that you had to go through the whole process. I had to go to a tribunal and I can feel for you. Well done !!! The ATOS so-called Medical is, and has been for you, an absolute farce ! I made a complaint to the General Medical Council and I suggest you do the same. I was fortunate and never allowed the medical report to be taken into acccount as I immediately following the medical contacted the GMP and relayed my concerns regarding the medical (ie. I broke my Neck (C5) very badly playing Rugby in 1987 and then started getting lower back problems in 1989 - after some 15-20 Operations (6 Major/Complex) I currently suffer from Severe Neck and Shoulder Pain (24/7 constant) /Lower Back pain /Degeneration of total Spinal Discs /Fibromyalgia (diagnosed in 2003 however suffered with since 1995-98) /Invasive Pains/Irritable Bowel Syndrome /Hiatus Hernia/Three Ulcers (due to too many strong Anti-Inflammatories) /Sleep Problems /Short term Memory problems (due to Fibromyalgia)).
