Hi this is my first post so please bear with me !! I have got an up and coming tribunal appeal and I am sooooo scared,I apparently failed my asos medical which to ne honest was a joke, I have got chronic degenerative disc disease at l5/s1 and diffuse disc bulge at l4/5 which I am in constant pain etc,all the dwp and asso have said or refered in all correspondence is that I have back pain!!!! my condition is limiting and I can not walk over 35 meters with out having to stop and severe pain and I can not sit for more than 10 minutes so I should have scored at least 15 points!!! I have not got a date yet for my tribunal but I am terrified and wondered if anyone can tell me what to expect etc, if I lose again is that it? because I am not fit for work and the thought of it is really making me ill please help any info would be great
thank you

Hi Lisa

The ESA appeal guide explains what to expect and how to prepare for an appeal hearing. You can find it from the link below.

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/esa

If your appeal is disallowed, provided you still have your GP's support, you can make a fresh claim for ESA.

Good luck

Derek
