Should i send a copy of ESA50 to DM was created by charlie1962
After nearly 2 weeks of trying to fill in ESA50 form i have almost finished it (and it has almost finished me). I have read some of the members comments and some say that they have sent form to ATOS and copies to DWP DM.
I'm sorry my brain has been frazzled by the ESA50, but i thought that the DM made their decision after your medical to see if they agree with the ATOS professional
Should i send a copy to the DM and can anyone please tell me how to find the address of the DM. Sorry if this seems a silly question but i am mentally drained and exhausted.

Hi Charlie,
The dwp dm has to take all evidence into consideration, so supporting evidence with your questionnaire etc. Atos do not. It is worth a shot, at least the dwp dm will read the questionnaire all letters in view to your claim as well as the atos report. The dm address is the address at the right hand side of the letter you first received that is your local benfits office to send the copy back.. Make sure you get proof of posting for the atos documents, and you keep it, so if any problems you have posted it back in good time. Remember to put your name, ni number, date of birth on all supporting evidence, and extra a4 and secure it to questionnaire. With the dm put in a photocopy of the proof of posting certifcate that you have sent the questionnaire back in good time. That way they can see you have done what has been requested of you. Wish you lots of luck. Thinking of you.
