on incapacity benefit, what to expect next was created by nik
Hi there, i am currently on incapacity benefit , very reduced due to recieving ill health pension.
i have Multiple Sclerosis and a spinal order and was ill health retired just over 3 years ago- and deemed unable to work in any capacity.
with all these changes ( not sure i know hwat the changes are , but i have eard of changes)
what can i expect to happen next?
be good to know what to prepare for... might i be asked to fill in Work Capability Assessment? ( or is that what i am expempt from due to MS?)
Many thanks in advance

A new work capability assessment (WCA) was introduced in March 2011. If you were sent the old ESA50 then you will be subject to the old WCA. The old ESA50 has 28 pages and activity 1 is 'Walking and using steps'. The new ESA50 has 21 pages and activity 1 is 'Moving around and using steps
