Well I was 99% certain I was going ask them to reconsider first as IMO it would save time but if your saying it will get reconsidered if i go to appeal then i might as well go that route and doff my cap to people who know more then me.
Just to make sure i don't have my facts wrong when i send in my form GL24 does the information I put on that form become the whole basis for my appeal or is the GL24 just the start and then I will get another form to fill to go into more detail on why I think the DM was wrong.
In short do i have to do ALL my work in the next few weeks or will the work come when i get a date for the appeal.

No, you can submit evidence and written statements upto about 10 working days before the date of your hearing, although earlier is better.

OK Gordon many thx for the quick reply, in that case i'll just get it in asap, well after i have seen my gp on the 13th anyway, once again thx Gordon.
