Hi all
I see the papasmurf (don't quote me) said something about age and esa medicals I am 65 may 2013 and i am on esa ir.I had a medical and good till nov 2012 Do i need to do medical?

If I remember correctly, the post mistakenly referenced one of the rules related to the transfer of IB/IS/SDA claimants to ESA.Hi all

Anyone receiving ESA should expect to be re-assessed, with the possibility of a medical, until the start receiving their State Pension, at which point ESA is no longer payable.
You can find out your Retirement age by using the following calculator
pensions-service.direct.gov.uk/en/state-...-calculator/home.asp

Who is not affected
This change will not affect you if:
you claim Employment and Support Allowance already
you are due to reach State Pension age before 6 April 2014
