No, DLA is not looked at at the same time - although the ESA assessment can be used against you when it comes to DLA renewal.
Carer's allowance goes with DLA, I believe, not ESA. Therefore it would not be affected by ESA refusal.

Hi m,
As ESA and DLA are two totally different allowances, with different qualifying criteria just as IB and DLA are, your migration to ESA should not involve your DLA awards at all.
Qualification for Carers Allowance or The Carers Premium, is tied to your award of DLA, not ESA, so again your ESA assessment or award should not effect it.
The only thing that we have been made aware of, is that The DWP Decision Maker's sometimes use a DLA medical report as evidence in coming to a decision on ESA, and vice-versa.
This may be pertinent if there was something in say an ESA medical report, that was contradictory to an award of DLA, or vice-versa, once more.

I doubt that your local JC+ will have copies of the ESA50 as they are issued by ATOS rather than the DWP.Hi guys does anyone know if you can get a new ESA 50 form from your local job center plus and can you use the downloadable pdf ESA 50 form and fill in that form with ink, i have made a complete hash of the form, thanks.
