Remission and Pip

Hello all

I read somewhere that if your in remission from your illness and disability you wont get an award for pip, how does this work if its the need rather than the actual help you get

I haven't heard that but I guess it would depend on how long the period of remission lasts. If the claimant actually has no care or mobility needs then I can't see that DLA or PIP would be awarded...
