Firstly, a big thank you. The membership fee was worth every penny as your guide helped me be put straight into the support group without a medical. I was being transferred from IB and IS and it has taken 3 months for the DWP to let me know the decision.

I feel so relieved. The stress of receiving the form caused me to have my first breakdown in 4 years and although I was starting to recover, it wasn't until I knew for sure I would be in the support group that I felt like I could smile again.

However, nowhere on the letter does it say how long the award lasts.

In the breakdown of how much I will receive though it says these figures are valid from 9th July until 20th August 2013. Surely they're not going to review me after just a month?
I have been paying off a social fund loan though so wonder if it means I will complete paying it off in August.

I'm scared to ring the DWP to ask in case I go back on their radar again.

Many congratulations on the award.

The time between awards is usually set from the prognosis on the ESA85, if you had an assessment, or the ESA85A if you did not.

Contacting the DWP to request a copy of these will not have any impact on when you will be re-assessed again so you should not have any qualms about phoning or writing to the DWP for this information.

A BIG THANK YOU :) :) to everyone who helped me through this fiasco with ESA .................................................I went from ESA to support group in 2 weeks with no medical , but I had to submit some medical history from Hospital specialists , the job centre sent for me for a interview , when they seen me attend they could not believe I was put on ESA in the first place .Again , thank you

Hi J,

Congratulations on what would seem to be a successful review placing you into The SG, from The WRAG of ESA.

You can follow the advice on the previous post :

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?view=top...d=10&id=98361#106054

If you wish to know the recommended period before you will be reassessed once more.

They should have access to the prognosis on-screen, if you contact the DWP on the 0845 number on any letters that you have regarding your ESA.

Thanks for the kind words regarding B&W.
