posting ESA50 form special delivery?!

Hi,
I am my son's appointee. He is being migrated from IB. We sent my son's Esa50 form off end of July (it was due in for 3 August), along with support letters from 2 GP's at our doctors surgery. Next week will be 3 months since they received it and we have heard nothing. I know some people suggest calling them to find out what is going on and others say not to just leave it alone. I am worried he may have gotten lost in the system. Is anyone else experiencing these long delays? Does it depend on what part of the country you live in? All your help much appreciated as always.

Yes, this is pretty normal wherever you live. If payments have continued then it is pretty safe to assume that the ESA50 forms arrived at ATOS in time and are being dealt with. However, as you said, the only way to really be sure is to contact ATOS and see what the situation is.

This follows what my MP said earlier this week to me and below is what he said


'Something has gone very wrong with the whole system, and I am trying to sort things out centrally, so that that long delays no longer occur and people like you are not having to wait so long for a decision.'

However you could as mentioned talk to ATOS and also speak to your MP if you think fit.
