Atos has had a lot of criticism for using inappropriately trained medical professionals such as physiotherapists to assess mental health conditions. Perhaps they have learnt something from this criticism?! I think it will be of benefit to you if this individual has better knowledge of your conditions. I hope this individual treats you with respect but some doctors are better with bedside manner than others. Good luck and look forward to hearing from you.

Cal waited more than 27 weeks to b called to a F2F. If Atos had leanred anything in recent months they had time aplenty to ensure an approprate profesional was in place. What a waste of Cal's time...an the taxpayers' money we hear so much about.

I feel so upset for you, Cal. After so many months of waiting it comes to this. All the best for next time.

Cal wrote: Hi I went to my medical Monday. 20 minutes in I was informed by the nurse I have to come back and see one of the GP's as she can't deal with my illness.
I have no complaints so far the nurse was very pleasant and couldn't apologise enough.
I hope my next appointment goes as smooth and as pleasant as the 20 minutes I had this week. I'm under no illusion though as iv heard lots of negative stories.
I will let you know the outcome of my next medical.
Thanks for all your information x

As my 2nd appointment had been cancelled due to GP illness. I'm a bit worried now as I'm due to go on holiday iv a feeling the appointment my coincide with this.
Can I say it's not convenient I mean I have attended been sent away was attending today then got a call to say it had been cancelled.
I have the letter from January to say your appointment has had to be rescheduled to see a GP.
I'm just worried now in case they say I have to attend.
Thanks for any information it is much appreciated.

Hi Cal, you should still be allowed to rearrange the assessment once if it is not convenient to you, these 2 postponements should not count against you as they were initiated by ATOS.
