Dear Latetrain, I expect you know, but just in case... don't forget to add your name and national Insurance number on the top edge of any letters from carers/friends/family you submit. But not so near the edge that slapdash contract scanning/photocopying will chop them off.
And perhaps a Document number, so you can write "See Doc X" in the any additional info box.

Very best wishes,
Denby

Thank you for signposts the guide page #. Which guide are you referring to specifically ? there are many. None of which have 92 pages that i can see.

These are the guides i can see :

1 - Guide to PIP appeals - A 36 page guide

2 - The Best Possible Support For Clients With PIP Mandatory Reconsiderations and Appeals
A detailed 49 page guide

3 -PIP mandatory reconsideration and appeal submissions -A 33 page guide

4 - Best possible ways to challenge a PIP medical report - A 24 page guide

thanks again

Hi Sum

Gary was talking about the Guide to PIP claims and reviews (Page 92) - where it talks about additional information, which is a question you had asked in your previous post.

Additional information can be anything you want to add to your appeal including letters from friends and relatives or health professionals.

Hi Sum The idea is to push the DWP to put in their submission. There is no negative impact to doing this. The DWP can be very slow in responding to the Tribunals service. BIS

Just An update for you on my Sons Appeal.

DWP have responded. They called me to say the decision has been revised from 0pts to std award for daily living. No chg on mobility as he is awarded enh rate already.

so i asked the agent to call me back the next day so i can refresh my memory about what pts i disputed.

in the folo up call i told the agent i would like to continue to Appeal.

Waiting for DWP info in post. Thats it so far, while i am moving home and waiting for operation ...... no rest for the wicked they say .... i must be 😈

Update ......

i took a break form the online form submission, i'm moving home and doing all the DIY manual work atm. However , when i logged back in to submit the last bit in Additional info i was horrified to find the online draft had been deleted by the system !

There was a stm on the online system which says 'Your appeal application will be saved for 6 months.' this must be new or i never noticed it before. I recently submitted my sons online appeal 13mths later. So i was surprised 😕

i have to start again 😤

so the moral of story is to get it done in 6months or less , or be prepared to start again 😕

Hi Sum

Sorry that you had to start again - I'm surprised at that - sounds like a system failure.
