We thought it was time to share a little more good news from members to prove that not everything’s gloom and doom in the world of benefits.  As always, names have been changed to protect confidentiality.  Do get in touch if you have good news to share.

Beyond my wildest dreams
I have subscribed to Benefits and work for the last 18 months and have just been awarded higher rate mobility and higher rate care. This is beyond my wildest dreams and is all down to the information you provide on your website. It is the best money that I have ever spent. I used to spend £25 for an ex welfare rights officer every time my DLA forms needed filling in and was awarded middle rate care and lower rate mobility. Thank you so much for your website, I don't know what we would have done without it.

I couldn’t believe it
I have attempted to receive DLA for the past 3 years.  I decided to apply again this year and saw your website. I decided to become a member and try and fill my form out using your help and advice.

This time my DLA claim has been assessed and I am receiving higher rate mobility and higher rate care – my form and letter from my GP, no medical, no appeals!  I couldn’t believe it.
 
You have given me a new lease of life – thank you for all the information and advice without it I doubt I would never have received DLA.  I am extremely grateful.

Money well spent
Just had my ESA appeal today.  When I had my medical I was awarded 6 points. Went for my appeal and got 19 in fifteen minutes.  Wow, a big thank you to you.  Keep the great work up. Money well spent. Again "cheers".

I am extremely happy
I'd just like to thank you for your excellent advice on your website  in regard to the completion of the short renewal form for DLA.  Today I received confirmation that my application has been renewed and I have been awarded Higher Rate Mobility and Lowest Rate Care indefinitely, which I am extremely happy about. 

I have fibromyalgia and I have found that I have needed to fight for any form of benefit due to me as I feel that I am seen as a liar because of my medical condition, which is not widely recognised.  I was ready for another fight for this DLA too, not expecting to have things appear so straight forward.  Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Middle care and high mobility
I would like to thank every one who contributes to the site, I have been awarded middle care and high mobility DLA, with no small thanks to this site,  I do believe I would still be swapping letters and phone calls with doctors and the DLA people for some time to come if it were not for the advice I have  received  from Benefits and Work.
