Hi all,

thanks for replies in relation to my post. I have had the capita assessment sent out to me and it has got some mistakes, however my problem i believe is mainly with lack of evidence to support what i am saying which i believe is unfair as i struggle to even attend appointments most of the time.

I have a new therapist for my PTSD and anxiety however i have only seen her once and missed the last appointment and also missed my group sessions due to not being able to leave the house. I have rearranged my therapy session and it is on 25/01/15.

My medications that i was on have now been stopped and i have been moved to movelat and paracetamol due to being pregnant. Which didnt match up to the GP report as the GP ovb. stated that i had moved from naproxen to movelat cream which is a mild painkiller. I feel like now because i am not on anything they will say you dont have a condition

I have physio on 25 jan my first appointment so will see what they say.

I relation to my depression/anxiety the nurse stated in the report that as i a not on any depression medication there is no evidence to support what i am saying. I was on medication (anti-depressants) however they did not work and gave me more symptoms than i had in the first place and this was before i moved to a new GP around 6 months ago.

I have had to stop work due to PTSD symptoms and the pain i am in with my back.
I cannot drop my 4 Year old off to school and have to have family members do this.
I dont go out alone due to the stress and anxiety/panic attacks i get which make it dangerous for me and not to mention embarrassing. I have not mentioned the leaking urine to the DR. as it is embarrassing as i am only 22 years old and they have used it against me as if i am lying as there's no medical evidence and no suggestion of incontinence.

I find this so unfair that they are inevitably using my Mental health condition against me and not taking into account how hard it is for me to talk about things to people without sever stress and embarrassment and not to mention missing appointments.

I believe i have until the 6 feb to to a mandatory reconsideration but how do i go about it with no medical evidence. I had sent them my psychiatric report diagnosing me as having PTSD but the report was written in september when i was much better than i am now.
My therapist is more a less new to me although shes nice, i dont really know her and ive seen her once and i am struggling to even get myself to leave the house and will not do so unless someone takes me.

and not to mention that the Capita Nurse said i carried out the tasks asked and i touched below my knees

I wish.

she didnt ask me to walk due to the pain i was in which she could see.
she noted that i squated to sit down?? which i did not
she said i communicated fine with her - although my friend mentioned that i talk very slow and kept getting mixed up and needed prompting to finish sentences.
Nurse noted i was very quiet at start of the assessment but no reasons why (The reason why is because my chest was tightening due to the anxiety and i could not look at her face to face)
I kept looking around to avoid her and need reassurance from my friend and this was all in my own home i suffer with these problems and imagine how bad i get outside in a unfamiliar place.
She also lied and said i like watching TV, which when she asked me i said i dont really like it and dont pay attention.

its quite funny tbh how much they lie.

Hi
Did you get your medical records and go through them?
If not perhaps you could do this or get a friend to go with you. There will be lots of letters, diagnoses, copies of prescriptions etc that you can get copies of and add to your evidence bundle.
You need to open up to anyone who treats or cares for you. Keep a diary of your day to day struggles.
The truth is the MR was set up by the government to place another obstacle in the way of claimants getting their just awards. It usually just rubberstamps the original decision although there are some posts on here from people who got their proper award at MR.
However you must be prepared for the MR to uphold the decision and you will have to go to a panel hearing. I don't want to put you off but I do want you to be prepared. Have you tried turn2us? What about a mental health charity? You may be able to get some help. Its surely worth a try.

Hi, I had an assessment for PIP for mental and physical health conditions and they used the MH Care Plan quite a lot as evidence if you can possibly be on the recovery programme for mental health this might be useful in terms of support you need, it sounds like you already get support at home etc. It did keep saying 'this is evidenced by the level of MH support and supported by the medication' so it seems they do look at meds etc...I got enhanced care for 3 years which is soon up for renewal.

You could also re-iterate about the pregnancy and how this means you can't take meds and therefore are even more reliant on support etc. There is something about pregnancy but think that might be in relation to ESA support group...

As stated by myself before, my neighbour, an assessor, told me that without medical evidence to back up a claim they are told to ignore the claim. You have to have medical evidence otherwise anybody could claim to have anything. Keep all letter of appointments for specialists.
