Well after much stressing after my interview I was in no uncertain terms told by the advisor that if I don't find an activity (as I am in the WRAG group) they (the job ctr) will send me on one. It did shake me up a bit especially as i tried to explain to the gent conducting the interview how my chronic condition makes studying or taking part in any kind of activity very very VERY difficult. Of course he was having none of it so i have looked into doing some sort of part time course.
How, I have no idea but as i have another appointment on the 28th of this month I have to now prove to them that i will be attending this course. It's ridiculous especially as i had the dreaded brown envelope come through my letter box with the cursed ESA50 form that was a nightmare to fill out especially when on top of everything I have I contracted shingles which I'm still recovering from.
I am so stressed out because I'm starting to think that I will be asked to look for some sort of employment which is fine by me but given my condition I can't imagine an employer will be sympathetic to someone that suffers from chronic pain and can't stand or sit for more than ten minutes.
Sometimes I feel like throwing the towel in but then how am I supposed to live. I want to work but I can't and i hate being in this position where someone at the job center tries to convince ME that my condition is "in my head"
The idiot
Any advice?

I'm afraid while you are in the WRAG, you are required to take part in Work Related Activity such as your attending training courses.
The critical issue is whether the request is mandatory or not, if it is then the request needs to have been made in writing and is must explicitly state that your attendance is mandatory, failing to attend under these circumstances can lead to your benefit being sanctioned.
Even if the request is no mandatory, you should give some though as to how your advisor will react if you do not attend.
