Thank you very much, I see what you mean. Since we have to reapply for pip in 6 months I was only going to go as far as mandatory reconsideration, not appeal this time.
Based on what you have said I will not ask for a reconsideration as this would definitely be a topic for a tribunal if anything, and the award we have been given is otherwise exactly what I thought my son was entitled to and it was given very quickly without any fuss.
