Not free Road Tax, you need an Enhanced PIP Award for that, but you do get a 50% reduction.

Hi MM,

You will be sent a letter inviting' you to apply for PIP. You will then have to initiate the claim, the DWP want people to do this over the phone but it is possible to do it by post. At some stage you would then be sent the assessment form after which a decision would be made regarding whether you need a face2face. As long as you do everything in the time frame given, your DLA will remain in payment until 4 weeks after the PIP decision is made, no matter how long that takes.

I would prefer to have the form sent to me as I believe I can put more info on it rather than a phone call and would it be of advantage to put in my copies of the consultants diagnosis that I have kept over the years with the form.

Is this form like the leaflet you fill in foe ESA. ?
