i have just called them and i am waiting for a date for home visit for my face to face assessment

if ATOS call me for a short notice appointment for a home face to face and i dont take it does that use my 1st one up and i have to take the next one ??

No, it should not count as one of your two opportunities to agree an appointment for your F2F.

Legislation dictates that you are entitled to 7 days written notice of an appointment for a F2F unless you agree to a short notice appointment.

The time taken from when you return your PIP 2 Form to when you hear something back is variable dependent on the work load of The PIP Assessors (ATOS or Capita) in your particular area.

Before New Year members were hearing within a fortnight of returning their PIP 2, but the process has slowed down since then and is taking longer.
