Got My PIP Date ..

I can make a sandwich and toast, honestly that's it. I don't have the grip strength to handle utensils, lift pans etc, my hand is VERY sensitive to heat so I can't/won't put it near heat sources and has to be said my confidence in attempting cooking is NIL after a couple of nasty mishaps.

I also have to use 'fat' handle cutlery to eat my food.

When I was assessed for DLA years ago, someone came round and watched me prepare a snack (and change a fuse)

Hope those days are gone, it was demeaning.

That's a bit better, but on public transport Chester is the only one I can do in 90 mins.

Should (big should I concede) reach the same outcome surely, as the 'severity of your problems' determines the 'amount of care you need' ??

But it won't be that straightforward will it??
