Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Your wife was talking to a call centre operative so they would not have had any knowledge of your claim form.
Maximus inherited a huge backlog from ATOS last year when they took over ESA assessments last year, in some areas they are still struggling with it, it's probably this that is delaying your assessment being booked.
Don't worry about sending the letter to another address, my suggestion of your sending a copy to the DWP was only if there was confusion about whether an assessment was still needed or not.
I would take a copy of the letter to your assessment when it is arranged and ask the assessor to read it before they start the interview.

Thank you again Gordon
My wife did say the phone call was a bit strange and vague from the operator on the other end of the phone.
Is there another number my wifre could ring to get a bit more info.
I did really think that I wouldn't need an assessment this time with all the information I sent them, I really get worked up about them. I would like to send a copy to the DWP but I don't really know what address I should send it to.
Yes I think I will take a copy of all the letters I got from my specialist and my doctor just in case.
Thank you again you been really helpful with everything and me and my wife do appreciate it.

Hi Painblock,
There is no other number on which to ring Maximus - but I had a swift and helpful reply when I emailed them recently so you could try that.

You can still send a copy of your letters to DWP if you wish. Send it to the address on the most recent letter you have had from them regarding ESA.
Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

Well I got a letter today to go for a face to face on 22nd of this month.
I am so worried with it because after last time I had to go for a tribunal.

Try not to worry too much, go through your ESA50 and evidence to make sure you are familiar with what you wrote, there is a section at the back of the ESA Claim guides that covers the assessment and the questions that you are likely to be asked.
