PIP has 2 components - Mobility and Care, If you either, then you have a PIP award, but many people have both. Both of the components you can get at the Higher or Lower level.
So you might, for example, get Higher rate Care AND lower rate Mobility.
Or perhaps Lower rate Care and no Mobility
Or maybe Higher rate Care AND Higher rate Mobility.
You should have a letter from the DWP telling you what elements of PIP you get. If your PIP is recent then the letter you had telling you what you got has these details on it.
If you got the award before April 2016, then you will have had a letter round about then telling you what they are going to pay you for this year. You should always keep the letter with the new rates, because it is also you proof that you get PIP, which can be very handy.
If you really can't find that letter, then take a look at your bank statement and see how much PIP you get paid. That will allow you to find out what awards you have got.
