I intend to refer the ESA medical assessors to my PIP medical results from last year which gave me the highest rate for all components.
Now, some of what the PIP medical assessor wrote about me then was obviously very favourable and I agreed with it. (I was examined at home back then BTW) Those are the bits I will refer the ESA medical assessor to next month when I see them.
However, there were parts of my PIP medical assessment results that I strongly disagreed with but did not challenge because I got the overall result I wanted.
When I refer the ESA medical assessor to my PIP results from last year (the favourable bits) is that ALL they will consider or will they go digging and perhaps use the not so favourable parts against me for my ESA medical?
Cheers
I doubt that the Maximus assessor will not have access to your PIP information, so you need to consider sending them a copy. If you do, then you need to explain the relevance of the report to the ESA activities as the criteria for the benefit, even where they overlap is different.

Dougle wrote: And one last thing please , is there any danger in asking the ESA medical assessors to consider my PIP report as evidence ? Would there be any risk that they may start digging and reconsider my PIP award?
Sorry ,I just keep thinking of new questions
I would not expect it to be an issue, the criteria are different.

Or will I have to just take it along to the medical on the day ?

Send it to the Maximus where you are being assessed and the DWP office dealing with your claim and I would take a copy to the assessment as well and ask the assessor to read it before they start the interview.

**Should I just attend the assessment without the GP support letter? ,by the way,the GP has not returned the form ATOS/DWP sent him asking for information about my condition either ...or shall I ask for a rearrangement of the assessment in hopes of seeing my GP before Christmas ?
This is driving me nuts.
I have sent every possible information to ATOS including a copy of my PIP report which was very favourable to me but I need this help from my GP .
Thanks again

It's up to you whether to move the appointment, but be aware you can only do this once and must attend any rearranged appointment, whenever and wherever it is.
Do you think that the GP is likely to respond to your request?
