My letter to attend a face to face health assessment for my ESA claim came from there but I am told to attend a building in Thornaby on Tees. Called Christine House.
I am hoping my GP can FAX a letter to them in the hope of stopping this madness. It worked last time and i have been in the Support Group for years.
Thanks for any advice

It's not the DWP that you need to contact but ATOS now known as IAS

Now DWP/ATOS say they have written to my GP to ask why he feels i need a home medical visit but received no reply .I know for certain that my GP has actively been keeping an eye out for such a contact and has not received anything.
I have to contact my GP this week to ask for support now as my medical is in the second week of December so that is Christmas ruined. Terrified.Stresssed.Upset ..

I just assumed that because i had a home medical for PIP about a year ago and was given a full award that they would use that information.

I mean if they accepted a year ago during my home PIP medical that I cannot walk without extreme pain for even one step and have a lot of care issues will they accept the same for my ESA medical ? Or are other different descriptors in play for ESA?
I basically put the same information in the ESA50 that I won my PIP claim with but tailored it to the ESA 50 form.
Extreme pain and immobilty blights my life 24/7 and I often spend weeks in bed.
The ESA medical centre is on the 2nd floor and this worries me massively. I know I will not be able to sit for long in a waiting room .My Dr told ATOS this but they say they now want more detailed information.
I just cannot understand how they can accept that I am in so much pain and so immobile that I deserve a full PIP award but not accept the same evidence for ESA.I realise they are two very different benefits.I feel that if I attend the ESA medical ,and I know I must, then I have already lost because they will just say I can walk and am mobile !
I could not possibly have provoded more information relating to the ESA descriptors plus I gave medical reports ,a GP support letter and stuff from social services.
Is there anything I can do now in the hope of stopping this ? Last time I filled the ESA50 in ,years ago , I received a letter saying I did not have to attend the medical and was in the support group
Thanka for help ...sorry but I am beside myself.

It can happen but it's rare, you would need to understand what information is missing for it to have any chance.
