Hi Gordon I appreciate your post. I dunno whether it's worth the hassle, I do seem to fit the criteria though. My condition leaves me housebound and any trip into our small town centre is very daunting and I just want to get back home. I'm housebound. The money sounds welcome but I don't trust the dwp, I always think they have a hidden agenda given their behaviour. To solve the problem, I might ask at the beginning if the amount I am entitled to is refusable after they have asked me the questions they want to know. It might be a sly way of getting information out of claimants to give them additional info as well as the f2f's and ESA50's. I don't mind telling them I'm housebound and would have to go through an ordeal in order to get the money, the walking to the JC and taking in the bank statements. I'd dread every bank statement that came in. I'm weighing up the pro's and con's.
