Will the DM refer to any of the descriptors I gained points on in the PIP claim?

I am unable to claim UC due to my savings. I understand UC is 100% means tested.
Eventually when people are migrated will I get transitional protection due to my savings or will
I have to lose my claim to UC?
Thanks

Probably not, they do occasionally refer to a PIP report but the areas of overlap are small and even where there is, the criteria can still be different, you need to explain the relevance on any PIP award to your problems with the ESA activities, there is a document in the ESA/PIP areas that shows where we think there is overlap.

Your ESA(CB) will remain in payment and will not be transferred to UC. If you still have more than £16,000 in savings at the time that you are invited to claim UC then the claim will be refused.
